Key pin won't release from the list (diode lighting up)

You might find yourself in a position where you log in to the keybox, you have access, the key position diode is lighting up but the key pin won't release from the list. The issue is most likely the pin is "pinched" rather than actually locked in the correct position.

Solution:

  • open the door to the Keybox - push * without closing the door
  • Log in to the configuration menu with your service pin (factory default is 1234#) and go to the option "Unlock all lists"
  • Press # twice, all positions in the keybox will now be opened and the PIN should be able to pick up. 
  • Close the door and open the door with your admin code (factory default 301042#), return the intelliPens and close the door. 

If the issue repeats, the recommendation is to change the key pin and if the issue is still present after that, the list itself should be replaced.
