If you face an issue where the IntelliPin light goes out and strips behave slowly and irregularly you might have run into an issue originated after 2016-03-01.
A few years back the chip to our Intellipins was upgraded, if you be any chance have an old list on your cabinet and put in a new pin, due to the fact that the list and the pin do not use the same reading speed, you would see a very erratic behaviour from the lists.
This is very rare today. Most lists in older cabinets have had their programming changed, and new cabinets have the correct list programming that responds correctly with the pins.
The solution is to change the list to a new one and send the old one back to Creone for re-programming.
