If you find yourself in a position where the key positions light up after you logged in and opened the door, but goes out after just a few seconds you most likely have a glitch in your door contact.
The door contact's job is to register when the door opens and closes if the contact is broken the cabinet won't register the door opening and just assumes you never did open the door and shuts down.
You should also be able to see in the event log that someone logged in but never opened a door.
The recommendation is to change the door contact.
