You might see an alarm in your event log, on a time and date where no one has been working, and there is no event for opening the door etc. The alarm is probably false.
The false alarm usually comes from an intellipin having poor contact with the strip. Sometimes it is very obvious that there is one specific pin that is always showing up in the event log, and the advice is to replace that pin.
If it is not clear what position is the culprit and the alarm seems more random, we recommend this procedure:
1. Cleaning of all strips and pegs (download instructions for the cleaning procedure: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AtyuMdNWW3Gmgnk_T8EQ7bq7t1RW)
2. After cleaning, monitor the event log to see what pin positions keep coming up with false alarms, replace the pins.
3. If cleaning and replacing the pin does not stop the alarm, replace the strip where you see the alarm.
Also, it might be an idea to have a look at the close environment, if it is a busy environment with heavy traffic, or heavy machinery operating close by, you might get false alarms due to heavy vibrations, not too common but should not be overlooked and if so, you might want to move the keybox to another location.
