If you have a keybox, standalone or with an expansion, there is an option to connect an alarm circuit that will send a signal to the cabinets alarm contacts and to the external alarm to allow for alarms to go off in the cabinet or an external choice (bullhorn, siren, security firm etc.) The alarm will go off when someone is opening a compartment or door without entering a code, or if the keybox is being removed from its wall mounting.
When creating the circuit there is a fair amount of cable that needs to be set between the cabinets and it is helpful to have an overview. The one created here is a 9000S/B series with 2 expansion but the general idea can be applied to most of our models.
