Diode/key does not light up when keypeg is returned

When returning a key the diode above the position should light up. If not, there are a few possible causes.

1. The keybox did not register the returning of the peg, remove the peg and return it, did it light up now?

2. You do not have access to the key, talk to your Keywin admin to ensure you have the correct rights to the key.

3. You have been logged out. The keybox did not register that the door was opened. Try log in again, and if the same thing happens i.e. you open the door and after a few seconds you are logged out, then there might be an issue with the door sensor. Contact your re-seller to get help to check the door sensor.

4. The keybox is offline and cannot register that the key is returned, no matter how many times you try to return it. Restart the Keybox, make sure you have the correct network settings etc. The keybox needs to be connected to Keywin in order to update key status.

5. The keybox is online, you can see events from the keybox in real time in Keywin event log, but the position still does not light up. Try another peg on the same position, if it works normally the keypeg may be broken and needs to be replaced.

6. The keybox needs a factory reset to update all positions and/or update to the next firmware version.

See this article for how to safely perform a factory reset: Factory reset & firmware update when available
